We meet at the cricket club on Knightsfield, where the parking is good, on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. Our lecturer, Mike, who is a retired architect, prepares interesting lectures on subjects ranging from cathedrals to art deco, modern architecture and lots more.

We usually arrange an outing during the summer - recent destinations have included the Olympic Park, Stratford; St John’s College, Cambridge, the Crossness Pumping Station, and Eltham Palace.

Unfortunately, the Group is currently full. We would like to get a second Group started, on a different day of the week. Perhaps some of our current Group members may be interested in doing this? The second Group would be free to decide the format and content of the talks/lecture on Architecture. Help would be provided in finding a suitable venue (possibly the Cricket Club on a different day).
