The aim of the Tearoom Visit Group is to try out local tearooms. We have visited all the ones we can think of within a 15 mile range, and have found that our favourites are We R Cakes, near Woolmer Green, and the Leafy Oak Tearoom, near Ware. The photos above are the display of cakes at We R Cakes, and the interesting signage for the Leafy Oak Tearoom; there is the added attraction of a plant nursery to have a wander around here. We currently have 40 members on the email list, and 12 to 16 of us meet up once a month.
